Antique Bronze Betel Sireh Tobacco Box XIXth Century Bhutan Bhutanese

Known as a "chakar" in the Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan, it was used to store and transport betel nuts (doma) and betel leaves (paan) or shredded tobacco.

Period - 19th century or earlier Condition - It shows signs of use, it is a genuine utilitarian object and not a tourist souvenir.
