Imposing Flamish Fireplace, Noir De Mazy Marble
A Renaissance Belgian fireplace, made out of the blackest black marble: Noir de Mazy. A piece of Glorie of a past era. The heavy and moulded shelf rest above a panelled frieze, supported by six corbels. Full round and free standing columns fronting the jambs, resting on sturdy, double footblocks. We have more, similar fireplaces, but this fireplace is opposite all others: Total deep-black. This 'Black Matters' fireplace will be a focal point in any room, providing an expressive echo of the past. Also in a contemporary room. It has perfect dimensions for bringing inn a BIG firebox.
