Louis XVI Style Fireplace, 'demi Lune' Brocatelle-marble

This antique fireplace in the style of Louis XVI was made out of the French Brocatelle Violette du Jura marble, during the second part of the 19th century, between 1870-1875, the period the house was constructed.  Modest decorated with flutes (canelures) on its frieze and jambs. Moulded shelf and rounded corners (Demi-Lune).  A Louis XVI style fireplace would fit well, with most modern room designs.  The expressive colors of this Brocatelle marble gives relief to this elegant fireplace.  Fireplace will be delivered with original, old marble floortiles, Carrara, to finish a frontfloor. Fireplace is in most optimal condition and is easy to re-install.
