"Antique Louis XVI Style Fireplace In White Marble With Columns And Rosettes"
A beautiful and elegant antique Louis XVI style fireplace crafted in white marble at the end of the 19th century. The mantel is richly adorned with a frieze of slanted (twisted) gadroons running its entire length, two sculpted rosettes in medallions positioned at the ends, and round columns with sculpted bases and capitals, reminiscent of the antique columns that supported them. It retains its original cast iron fireback and curtain, as well as its plain marble fireback. The fireplace is in good original condition and is available now in our showroom.
