Castle Fireplace And Its Trumeau In Solid Walnut Renaissance Style XIX

Extraordinary Renaissance style castle fireplace in solid walnut. It is a set of fireplace mantle and trumeau with a total height of 3.29 meters. The mantelpiece has solid fluted columns with Corinthian capitals and an acanthus leaf band. There is the cast iron interior to shrink the hearth. The trumeau part rests on the mantelpiece, it has flat columns with capitals at the top. The interior is an embossed, gilded and painted leather board with a hunting scene totally in the style of the Renaissance. This is an exceptional set, rare for sale and in very good house condition, it just has to be noted a slight lack of molding at the bottom of the interior part of the fireplace on the left and some gaps in the wood. Dimensions of the hearth, 118 cm wide and 102 cm high and 82 cm wide and 78 cm high with the cast iron hearth. Visible at my showroom warehouse in the southern area of Limoges 500m from a motorway exit. This set can be disassembled into 4 parts, the fireplace mantel, the mantle cornice, the cast iron plate and the trumeau part.
