Very beautiful pair of Louis XV period armchairs in solid walnut. Entirely original set with its period tapestry.
Powerful and rich carving of the walnut wood in acanthus leaves, shells, staples, and flowers.
The seat in floral pattern tapestry is period. It is in good condition, some holes but it should be left as is.
No trace of stamp even if the quality of the carving and the proportions would deserve it.
Very early period in the Louis XV, on the edge of the Regency, most certainly around 1725.
Delivery on pallet in wooden crate (bulky packaging) by carrier, 250 euros in France, 500 euros in the EU and 1500 euros rest of the world.
