Louis XV Period Armchair In Natural Wood With 18th-century Pastoral-style Needlepoint Tapestry
Charming small Louis XV period boudoir armchair in molded beechwood. Four cabriole legs with beautiful molding, as well as molding on the surrounding bands. Whiplash armrests. Curved medallion-shaped back. The seat has been reupholstered with fairly recent webbing. The armchair is covered in 18th-century point and demi-point tapestry, in used but still well-preserved condition. Wool tapestry with troubadour motifs on the back and flowers on the seat.
