Marble Fireplace, Louis Philippe

Marble fireplace: Napoléon Grande Mélange, ca.1865. France.  In the style of Louis Philippe, who was the king of France during 1830-1848.                The Louis Philippe-style is Eclectic, so based on adjustments of previous styles. This beautiful, sturdy fireplace brings a great sense of elégance and history in your room. The whole front (frieze) is connected as one piece, so easy to rebuild.  The marble is warm-soft brown with a few white veins.
