The secret shed

The Secret Shed art gallery is a unique, unusual place located in a former 18th-century coaching inn in Bondues, near Lille, where carefully selected antiques (Art Nouveau furniture by Gallé and Viardot; Daum and Schneider lamps) rub shoulders with exceptional works of art (ceramics by Odette Lepeltier, bronzes by Chana Orloff, etc.) with more contemporary pieces (lithographs by David Hockney, sculptures by David Mach). The gallery also offers antique jewellery and art books and has its own cabinet of curiosities, which includes several travel cabinets and antique objects from Japan and China in particular.
