Old Cashmere Carpet, Silk, 125 Cm X 182 Cm, Circa 1950, In Beautiful Condition And Superb Patina

This superb carpet from the middle of the 20th century before 1950 is from Kashmir, India. It is made of silk on a very fine cotton weft, for a density of 650,000 knots per M2 and measuring rod, 125 cm wide by 182 cm long, and 198 cm with the fringes.
The quality of these beautiful old silks is no longer to be demonstrated, these hand-knotted carpets are only beds of flowers, carnations, vanilla, rose ... accompanied by many birds placed on branches in the huge opening of the door of paradise represented by a niche.
The patina of this carpet is very beautiful and uniform, this piece is for a person who wants a carpet that has already lived and who stays in very good conditions.
The fringes are impeccable.
This carpet has been professionally and ecologically cleaned.
