18th Century Louis XVI Style Parclose Mirror In Golden Wood
superb and elegant mirror with close to the attributes of music of the XVIIIth century and Louis XVI style in gilded wood. Rectangular in shape it rests at its base on volutes surmounted by Greek windings. It is adorned on the uprights and crosspieces with floral motifs on the closures. The whole is capped with a pediment bearing the attributes of music (lyre and flute) against a background of a laurel wreath and acanthus leaves decoration, all finely carved and openwork. On each side is an urn at the top of the uprights. Large mirror of superb quality in excellent original condition, perfect condition of its gilding, original floor and very elegant.
