Mirror with carved and gilded wooden pediment Directoire period 18th century. Pediment with leafy and flowery scrolls, decorated with a pair of doves in the center, surmounted by a crown of openwork water flowers. Molded frame carved with a frieze of pearls decorated with leafy falls on each side, ending with small gray lacquered feet. Gold leaf gilding in very good condition. (formerly regilded) Original mercury mirror.
