"Tapestry Medallion "with A Parrot" Flanders 17th Century"
17th century Flemish tapestry medallion depicting a parrot with outstretched wings on a background of flowering branches decorated with fruit. Beautifully preserved colors. This tapestry fragment is presented in a Louis XVI 18th century woodwork frame in ivory white lacquered oak carved with large rosettes at the corners. A harmonious and decorative ensemble that can be used as a door overlay.
