Oval Mirror With Openwork Floral Decoration, 19th Century
Superb and large oval mirror in giltwood. This large oval mirror is decorated around its edge with carved and openwork floral and foliate motifs. At the bottom is a serpent holding an apple in its mouth, and at the top, an eagle with eaglets. The entire decoration is gilded with gold leaf and in its original condition, with a few minor imperfections visible in the photos. The mercury mirror is original. A high-quality piece in good condition, very decorative.
