Bergere Rechampi With Cushion, Louis XVI Period
Superb and elegant armchair with cushion in rechampi beechwood from the Louis XVI period. It rests on a fluted spindle base, the curved crosspieces are connected by assembly dice decorated with daisies. The armrests are molded ending in scrolls and the top of the policeman's hat-shaped backrest is molded. The set has been completely replenished and covered with a glossy brown fabric. Quality work, solid and very comfortable with its cushion having kept its original patina.
