XVIIIth Couture Box In Martin Varnish
Superb and elegant sewing box also forming an 18th century box in red Martin varnish. Curved in shape on all sides, gondola top, it opens in two and is covered with a silk padding. Finely chiseled bronze keyhole and hinge, the cover is also provided with a catch to facilitate opening. The whole is decorated with Far Eastern motifs on a red background. Object of curiosity and collection of quality and in very good original condition
