Louis XVI Provence Mirror Gilded Wood Late 18th Century
The pediment is decorated with two musical instruments: mandolin and clarinet, it is crowned with a branch of vine with foliage and grapes, at the bottom an olive branch and laurel. These plants are typical of the south of France and carry the symbolism of abundance, prosperity and distinction.
