Impressionist sunset by Michel Korochansky Russian Ukrainian painter born in Odessa in 1866, he began at the Julian Academy before settling in Montigny sur Loing like many 19th century painters. This oil on canvas represents a shepherd accompanying his flock at dusk, a very luminous picture by the use of bright colors. Signed lower right. In very good condition, on its original canvas without restoration. Presented in a period gilt frame with openwork decoration of shells, foliage and windings.
