"Louis XVI Period Bouillotte Table "
An 18th-century Louis XVI mahogany bouillotte table, richly adorned with gilt bronze mounts. It rests on four fluted legs filled with copper canes, terminating in bronze casters. The frieze features two solid mahogany pull-out slides and two drawers; the drawer pulls are of finely chased bronze. Rows of pearls and rosettes embellish the whole. The Carrara marble top is in perfect condition, surrounded by an openwork gilt bronze frieze. Original French polish finish. Height: 74 cm (including the gallery) Diameter: 60 cm
