Pair Of Louis XVI Vases Made Of Cobalt-blue Porcelain With Gilded Bronze Bases

A pair of Louis XVI-style vases, resting on a pedestal with a square base carved with twisted flutes and olive garlands. The porcelain body is bulbous, baluster-shaped, and cobalt blue in color, which highlights the gilded bronze of the swan-neck handles! Garlands of cascading flowers, rendered with exquisite chisel work, adorn both the front and back of the vases. These vases are topped with removable lids made of chiseled bronze, featuring pine cone-shaped knobs for easy handling.
A mid-19th-century piece from the Napoleon III era, in perfect condition, both in terms of the porcelain and the bronze!
