1930 sculpture by Marcel Bouraine depicting a dancer. This model, published by Max Le Verrier, appears in the catalog under the name "Joie". Set on a black-lacquered metal pyramid base, this original edition depicts a light-hearted dancer standing on a single foot, her joyful gaze perfectly reflecting the work's title. The square base bears the Garcia signature, a pseudonym of the sculptor Marcel Bouraine (1886-1948). Note the beautiful turquoise-blue patina contrasting with the well-preserved black lacquered base.
The square base measures 8/8cm and 5.5cm high. The statue alone is 19cm high.
