Provencal Walnut Estanier
Provencal Estanier early 19th century in solid walnut. The word estanier comes from the word étain! This small piece of furniture belongs to the small Provencal furniture such as flour boxes, salt boxes, panetières ... like them, they were hung on the wall. It allowed to present the pewter dishes in the upper part and a drawer allowed to accommodate the cutlery. Sculptures characteristic of Provence, decoration of torch and quiver buoyed by a ribbon, flowering branches, in the upper part shell and foliage. Work with pegged assembly in perfect condition with its beautiful period patina.
