Medical dissection of a recomposed mandolin in polished bronze with golden patina. Created in 2003 by Arman, this piece is a part of the "Coupes" series which reflects the personality of its author particularly well: methodical, almost obsessive, with a new look at our everyday objects. Sliced and reconstituted, the mandolin fills the space with a completely redesigned volume. Its polished golden bronze patina reflects the world around it with a certain sparkle.
