Blue Azurette Vase Signed French Glass

Vase with ovoid shape, amphora or pelike type, in multilayer glass decorated with acid-free stylized flowers in bright and contrasting cobalt-blue and royal-blue colors on a speckled background of powder interlayer. It is this particular color with azure tones that earned it its name "Azurette". A color that takes light particularly well by revealing a palette ranging from an intense blue to turquoise blue. Under the neck of the vase, are drawn honeycomb shapes typical of "Le Verre Français" creations. From the base start tree trunks, certainly apple trees, on which rest balls with flowers. The vase is signed at the tip "Le Verre Français" on the base.
