Barometer Thermometer
Carved and gilded wooden thermometer barometer Louis XVI XVIII th century. The dial signed Lamy, dated 1787, is surmounted by carved and gilded wooden profiles of goats. The alcohol thermometer according to Réaumur is accompanied by turbulent falling foliage and surmounted by a ribboned knot. Lower part ending in openwork windings united by a garland of flowers. Original gold leaf gilding in good condition (some wear and maintenance restorations). Mercury mechanism (missing a counterweight) Curious very decorative work from the end of the Louis XVI period with slender proportions.
