Stand representing a Nubian in carved gilded and polychrome wood Venice 19th century. The black lacquered Nubian is represented one knee on the ground with his right arm supporting the top of the stand. He is dressed in a golden drape decorated with flowers and wears a headdress delicately carved with golden feathers. Original gold leaf gilding and polychromy in good condition. Venetian work from the 19th century.
