PAIR OF FRENCH Flintlock OFFICER'S PISTOLS - signed "LE ROY A JOINVILLE" with 14cm round barrels, banded flared at the mouth and half, then angled towards thunder with gold inlaid shapes and blued finish 'origin. Turntables, shiny and polished gooseneck dog with round body. Walnut stock carved with a rose, with plain steel pommel. Polished steel fittings, ebony rod with bone pommel, probably the originals. Excellent aesthetic and functional condition. Only downside: Very small crack (hardly visible) on one of the dogs. -REF: S4020
