Superb old painting, French school from the 19th century, oil on wood signed lower right Edouard Rosset Granger, representing the bust portrait of a man in a suit. Renowned painter from the end of the 19th century, Edouard Rosset Granger painted many portraits of his painter friends but also of the Parisian bourgeoisie. Friends of Degas, pupil of Cabanel, he exhibited at the Salon from 1878. All in good condition, see photos. Total dimensions 53 cm x 44 cm, panel only 33 cm x 24 cm
