Very nice portrait of a young woman in profile from Napoleon III period, oval. It is signed "Ed. Wagrez". It is Edmond Louis Marie Wagrez, "painter of portraits and figures" after the Bénézit and "pupil of Constant Dutilleux", born in 1815 and died in 1882. Its very beautiful gilded wood frame from the same period highlights it. The table has undergone some small restorations at the level of the hair and the shawl. The date "January 1, 1864" is marked in pencil on the back of the canvas.
