Louis XVI Style Tapestry

Very beautiful wall tapestry like a large decorative panel with 19th century floral decoration in the style of the 18th century. Decor teeming with plants like a flowerbed in the lower part, friezes of climbing clematis around the edge which delimits a cartouche in which hangs in the upper part a wicker basket overflowing with a multitude of flowers. The colors of the flowers are treated in white and shades of pink, the foliage in white with different shades of brown. Light beige color background and dark pink border. The lower part is certainly missing a little bit, which has been bordered by a thick strip of cotton similar in color to the border, but we can still see the entire cartridge. This tapestry has been lined with canvas and has a few sewn rings for its suspension. Also called "door", this type of wall hanging was intended to decorate beautiful homes.
