Painted sheet metal egg pan from the mid-19th century. Made of painted sheet metal imitating wood, it is a tinsmith's work intended for domestic use. The eggs on the support were immersed in a bath of hot water to maintain a good temperature before eating them. This oval-shaped model rests on four metal ball feet. Two riveted flat iron side handles. A lid opening in the center by hinges in two parts each equipped with an acorn-shaped grip button. Removable support inside to hold a dozen eggs. Wear to the paint, scattered traces of oxidation. Good stability. No missing parts, no restoration. Delivery: €15 for mainland France.
