Could this be the portrait of the very famous king's jester, "Triboulet", at the court of France, entertainer of René d'Anjou, king of Naples and Sicily in the 15th century?...Many questions remain, forgive me, the history of enamels escapes me. The grisaille technique remains however very present, the line mastered, the glaze of beautiful quality and the black background very shiny.
