Pair of Sicilian polychrome earthenware candlesticks from the 20th century; created by the artist Giacomo Alessi. This pair represents a couple in traditional Italian clothing. Very beautiful details in the costume and beautiful, very shiny enamel. An accident on the lady's left hand, three phalanges missing. Each of the characters rests on a beige-colored cylindrical base. Signature on the back on each base: ALESSI CALTAGIRONE. These pieces come from the artist's studio in Caltagirone in Sicily.
