Circa 1945/1950 Paris France Bar skirt suit by Franck & Fils in black woolen cloth in line with Christian Dior's New Look and dating from the end of the 1940s. Fitted jacket with structured cut and marked waist hugging the hips. Crossed closure on the front with five black bakelite buttons. Elegant topstitched and buttoned tabs highlighting vertical front pockets. Three-quarter length straight skirt with slit at the back and side zipper. Jacket lining in mouse gray Duchesse satin. White label, black graphics indicating Franck & Fils, 80 rue de Passy Paris. No flaw. Excellent condition of color and conservation. Dimensions: Equivalent size 36/38 France. Jacket shoulders 40 cm, height 59 cm, waist 70 cm, chest 88 cm. Skirt height 66 cm, waist 67 cm.
