Circa 1900-1920, France. A precious square damask linen tablecloth from the Vosges region, from the renowned Burckel collection in Alsace, dating from the early 20th century. The center is white damask with a border of white and indigo blue stripes woven on a Jacquard loom. Reversible borders with geometric designs in a strong Egyptomania style, finely woven and edged on all four sides with colored knotted fringe. No flaws to note. Clean and ironed, ready for immediate use on a prestigious table. Exceptional condition. Dimensions: 135 cm x 133 cm, fringe 8 cm.
