Dry Bottle Bucket, Silver Melon Ribs Cooler, Circa 1900

A superb cooler Bucket, made of metal, very good silver plating which has happily endured one century; 
The bucket stands on a round base, pot-bellied with melon ribs, it contains in its center a bottle cylinder, Champagne diameter, 
the ice water thus not touching the bottle. 
Large contoured border on top, with two Louis XV style handles, a crown cover, engraved with the initials of the previous owners. 
Below, because it was a 25 year anniversary gift: 1881/1906, engraving of dates.
Curiously, no goldsmith's mark ....
Good condition, no flaws, no scratches, barely a hint of wear on the handles.
Height: 24cm, width, with the handles: 32cm, weight: 2.3cm.
