Set Including Barometer And Thermometer
Set comprising a barometer and a thermometer in ebony and violet wood veneer resting on a shower foot with molded cut sides. They rest on six small feet turned in gilded bronze. The indications of the thermometer as well as the barometer are according to the principles of Mr. René-Antoine Ferchault de Réaumur, according to the inscriptions on the brass plates. These also carry temperature indications and those used for the barometer.
