Hunting Dagger With 18th Century Engraved Blade
Large XVIIIth century dagger
The handle is made from a piece of antler.
The gilt bronze guard is with inverted quillons with mastiff heads with a boar in the center on one side and a dog on the other.
The big throat blade is engraved on one side with a boar fleeing from dogs in a landscape and with two patterns of flowers and scrolls, on the other of a running deer with the same two patterns. (this side more worn).The field is engraved with a fine pattern.

Remains of gilding on the guard. The blade is slightly attacked towards the tip, it measures 65.5 cm.
