Strong and short sword from the Royal Manufacture of Alsace, created in 1731 by LOUIS XV and transformed in 1781 by LOUIS XVI into the Klingental Manufacture. XVIII°. Metal mount and filigree fuse (restored). Simple joint arc and curved quillon ends. Small shell engraved on both sides with a helmeted soldier in medallion on bundles of weapons and flags. Flat blade with flat back on ricasso of 12.5 cm then with 2 6-sided edges. Ricasso engraved on both sides with a text, with Royal manufacture of Alsace and a rearing deer.
