Rare Cage Birds, Form Pagoda, Louis XV, Second Half Of The Eighteenth Century
Rare bird cage in pagoda, water lacquered wood and its wire fence. It opens with two small front doors, one of which is decorated with openwork scrolls. The four corners of the cage are decorated with small plumes and it rests on four square feet. It is provided on its base with its original zinc tray and its perch. Our cage is Louis XV period, around 1765, second half of the eighteenth century; Collectible object, which was usually located in a living room or an aviary in the eighteenth century.
