Beautiful and elegant rocking mahogany pedestal table, Louis XVI period circa 1780, second half of the 18th century. The pedestal table we are presenting rests on three large legs supporting an octagonal top with a wide edge, framing a Portor marble slab. The top is rocking. Portor marble is a very rare marble, quarried in Italy and Corsica since Antiquity. Private collection. In perfect condition. Dimensions: h.80.5 cm x d.top. 57 cm x w.legs. 67 cm.
