Wardrobe With Gendarme's Cap In Walnut, Louis XV Period, 18th Century, Lyon
Belle is an important walnut cupboard with a policeman's hat opening with two curved leaves, ending with a large drawer on the lower part and resting on snail feet on the front. On the upper part, it is provided with a beautiful sculpture of flowers in a cartouche and branches. The angles are also carved with scrolls. The sides are mounted in aprons with several compartments. The lock entries as well as the cremones are original. The interior has three shelves and three drawers. Louis XV period wardrobe, circa 1750, 18th century, originally from Lyon. Dimensions: w.155 cm x h.266 cm x d.70 cm. In perfect condition, coming from a private mansion in Aix.
