A solid silver lidded pot, Italian origin, Milan, 19th century. We present this very elegant pot with a finely chased lid decorated with foliage and scrolls, terminating in a chiseled foot on its base. The lid is adorned with an ivory ball. Hallmarked on the underside of the base. Second half of the 19th century, circa 1850. In perfect condition. Private collection. Dimensions: h. 22 cm x diameter 13 cm.
