Refined pair of architectural wall friezes, craftedfrom carved wood and gilded with gold leaf. The friezes are shaped likeacanthus leaves, reminiscent of the upper part of a Corinthian capital. Thesesplendid objects, originally conceived as architectural wall friezes, can beused both as sconces, with a light bulb inserted, or as bases for wall shelves,adding a shelf. This pair of elements exudes great taste and refinement, addinga touch of class and antiquity to any space. Made in the Marche region (centralItaly), from the Louis XV period, around the mid-18th century.
