A Louis XV period sedan chair, carved in gilded rocaille wood, entirely upholstered in painted leather
depicting putti in landscapes and a mythological scene.
It opens on the sides with two sliding glass panels.
The domed roof is also covered in studded leather.
The family coats of arms are painted on the sides.(lateral monogram DP "du perier")

this could be the family of General du Perier du Mouriez with the coat of arms of a Marquis holding the order of St Louis.
