Oval brooch adorned with a lovely hand-painted marine miniature on ivory, depicting a three-masted galleon sailing on a rough sea.
The painting, with its delicate details, is protected by a glass plate set in a brass frame decorated with twisted rope motifs.
Pins fasten on the back.
Probably from the late 19th century, possibly the early 20th century.
In good condition, with patina and signs of age.
