Art Deco Night Light – Nude Dancer With A Globe – Enrique Molins Balleste – Circa 1930
A beautiful Art Deco nightlight, circa 1930, based on a design by the sculptor Enrique Molins-Balleste, depicting a young dancer performing the splits and holding a glowing globe in her hands.
The sculpture, crafted from regule, features a beautiful green patina accented with gilding, highlighting the details of her hairstyle and costume.
It rests on an elegant pink marble base, topped with a green Empire-style marble pedestal.
The lampshade consists of a lovely crackled glass globe in shades of blue-green, whose color complements the sculpture’s patina particularly well.
The electrical wiring was completely refurbished in our workshop. The lamp is equipped with an LED bulb, a two-pole switch that complies with current standards, and a vintage-style black fabric cord that preserves the original aesthetic.
The entire piece is in perfect presentation condition.
