Large Louis XIV-style Armchair Made Of Solid Walnut With A Wide, Tall, Flat Backrest, 19th Century,

A very beautiful Louis XIV-style armchair in polished walnut.
This large armchair rests on four console legs; the two front legs are topped with acanthus leaves.
The four legs are connected by an H-shaped crossbar turned into a baluster and surmounted by four ball feet.
The armrests and supports feature highly ornate carvings and are also embellished with lovely acanthus motifs.
The backrest is tall and flat, sloping outward to provide great comfort.
The seat has just been reupholstered, so it is very comfortable; the upholstery has been redone with a beautiful fabric featuring foliage and floral motifs on a salmon-colored background. The entire piece is accented with a studded finish.
