Beautiful Chinese Stand, Carved Hongmu Wood And Marble, Dream Stone, Late 19th Century

A very pretty wooden and marble stand. It rests on five legs arranged in a star pattern jonction. It is finely carved with stylized Greek fretwork and garlands of leaves in slight relief. The round top is adorned with a marble plaque, reminiscent of a dreamstone, depicting mountains and a dynamic sky.
In very good overall condition; note a few clearly visible scratches on the marble and some microscopic ones on the wood, neither of which is significant. Please take a close look at my detailed photos—I’m not hiding anything!
Asian working, Chinese or Vietnamese, dating from the second half of the 19th century.
Dimensions: 82 cm H x 30.7 cm diameter.

I can therefore deliver myself throughout the south of France and work with you to find the best arrangement for purchasing the armchairs. ​​​​​​
