A Highly Ornate Brass And Red Copper Vase From India. Late 19th–early 20th Century

A highly ornate brass and red copper vase from India.
This piece features a decorative pattern covering the entire body, consisting of foliage, arabesques, and palm leaves.
These motifs surround six goddesses and one god, including Ganesha on the belly and two dancing goddesses on the neck.

The entire piece is engraved using the repoussé technique on 1.5 mm-thick copper.
This type of work is a true technical feat, as it is done entirely by hand.

The piece is in very good condition, showing only normal signs of wear.
A beautiful patina covers the entire piece.
